Old/New Port Bremerhaven

 

An energy solution needed to be developed for the free space around the Old and New port in Bremerhaven. Based on the expected use and the planned construction activities, we developed energy supply models and conducted a cost-benefit analysis. We analyzed and compared the installation of a decentralized (natural gas) supply system with centralized district heating, combined heat and power, and biomass solutions.

Furthermore, we provided ideas on energy efficient planning and innovative supply for the constructions to be planned.
